Declare An End To The War On Drugs
The War on Drugs is an attempt to reduce drug use by employing the criminal justice system, says Chris Chiles, executive director of Students for Sensible Drug Policy at the University of Michigan.
"A more appropriate model would focus on education, treatment and rehabilitation," he said. "Drug abuse is truly a public health issue, not a criminal justice issue."
