The hearing date has been rescheduled.



The new hearing date is December 10 at 8:30 AM and will continue on December 11 if necessary.



It was necessary to reschedule the hearing to accommodate necessary witnesses.

Dear Supporters and Friends of Susan Marie,

 

On Monday of this week Judge Crane set a date  for a hearing for  Susan Marie's motion to set aside the previous improper sentencing.

 

The hearing will be December 1 and will continue on December 2 if necessary.  He will hear the arguments on both sides as well as testimony from witnesses.

The hearing will take place in Judge Cranes courtroom in Saginaw Michigan.

 

We are very encouraged by Judge Cranes decision to hear the arguments and that he has changed his calendar to accommodate the hearing.

 

We are very hopeful Susan Marie will be able to be home for Christmas.

Supporters are now asked to begin a letter writing campaign to the Saginaw County Prosecutor. 

 

Dear Friends & Supporters

 

The Saginaw County prosecutor will soon be filing a response to Judge Crane regarding the re-sentencing hearing for Susan Marie.  Prosecutor Thomas requested a 30 day extension and the new deadline is October 10. 

 

We need your  help again with a letter to  Prosecutor Thomas, respectfully urging him not to oppose the re-sentencing hearing.  We are asking that he recommend to Judge Crane the terms for re-sentencing should be no more than credit for time served.

 

This request has been approved by Alan Walsh and Susan Marie's attorneys. 

 

We want you to know how much we value every supporters dedication, time and energy spent in writing the letters that are making a difference in Susan Marie's case.
